Interest Groups

Interest groups are the life blood of u3as. They allow members to come together with people with similar interests and enthusiasm to explore a subject or topic in more detail. Interest group members agree on what, and how, they will learn from each other and meetings can take in whatever way suits the members and the subject matter.

We are always interested in hearing from members who would like to start their own interest group. You do not need to be an expert – just someone with a willingness to share their interest and enthusiasm with others. For more information, or to discuss your ideas, contact Interest Groups Co-ordinator by clicking on this link.

Some groups meet in Nairn Community & Arts Centre and some smaller groups meet in members' homes. There is no set curriculum but subject advice is available from our parent body The Third Age Trust (website: https://www.u3a.org.uk)
